Cuff Width
- Preparation: Open cuff, lay flat.
- Path: Center of the button to the end of the buttonhole.
- Tip: Usually add 1–1.5 cm for the "watch hand".
Measure the open cuff lying flat from the button to the outer end of the buttonhole. To create space for a wristwatch, it is recommended to measure the cuff on the corresponding side (usually left) slightly wider than the other.
Important Note:
The following instructions are exclusively for measuring an existing shirt that fits you well (finished measurements). These values are not identical to your body measurements, as a shirt requires a comfort allowance.
Your Design Freedom:
When ordering a new shirt, you can modify the values. Do you want a tighter silhouette? Reduce the waist width by 1–2 cm. Do you need room for a wristwatch? Increase the corresponding cuff width (usually left).
